Thrombo ASS 50 mg gastro-resistant tablets, 100 Tabs

Thrombo ASS® contains the active substance acetylsalicylic acid (ASS).

Even in low doses, acetylsalicylic acid inhibits the platelets from sticking together and thus counteracts the formation of thrombi (blood clots). The use as enteric-coated film-coated tablets reduces the side effects on the stomach.

Thrombo ASS® 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg are used:

to reduce the risk of heart attack in patients with angina pectoris.
for recurrence prophylaxis after a heart attack.
for thrombosis prophylaxis after vascular surgery such as coronary bypass operations.
For secondary prophylaxis after transient ischaemic attacks (TIA) and apoplexy.
for the prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with diabetes mellitus and high cardiovascular risk.
Thrombo ASS® 100 mg is additionally used:

in acute myocardial infarction (after chewing the enteric-coated film-coated tablets).
for interval therapy of migraine.
