Up to 1.5 liters of urine are produced by the kidneys every day, which is collected in the bladder and then excreted. The urge to urinate is the natural need to empty the bladder. If benign prostate growth occurs in men as they get older, this can result in frequent urge to urinate at night and the resulting interruptions in sleep.

Prostagutt® duo 160 mg |/ 120 mg is a herbal medicine for relieving urinary symptoms associated with enlargement of the prostate. By reducing the urge to urinate, trips to the toilet and thus sleep interruptions are reduced and the bladder can be emptied more easily.

BPH – benign prostate enlargement
The chestnut-sized prostate, also known as the prostate gland, is one of the male sexual organs. It surrounds the urethra in a ring and is located directly under the bladder. From the age of 30 onwards, benign enlargement (medically: benign prostatic hyperplasia) can occur; a third of men over 50 suffer from symptoms associated with prostate growth.
