APPLICATION
HELICOBACTER ANTIGEN TEST is a quick home test designed to detect H. pylori infection. It is used to detect H. pylori antigens in a stool sample. The principle of the test is based on the antigen-antibody reaction. Anti-H. pylori monoclonal antibodies applied to the test membrane during the production process react with the H. pylori bacterial antigens present in the tested stool. The test result is read in the form of colored lines on the membrane of the test cassette within 10 minutes.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The Helicobacter Pylori test is intended to detect infection with a bacterium that inhabits the human stomach. This test is used to determine the presence of Helicobacter pylori antigens in a stool sample. A positive test result indicates the presence of antigens in the body. Due to the fact that the Helicobacter pylori bacterium is the main cause of diseases of the stomach and duodenum (such as gastritis or peptic ulcer disease), in case of disturbing symptoms from the digestive system, it is recommended to perform a test.
