Caltrate Vitamin D3 is a medicine containing calcium and vitamin D3, used to facilitate the absorption of calcium from the intestine and its fixation on the bones.
Caltrate Vitamin D3 is used to treat calcium and vitamin D deficiencies in the elderly and in combination with osteoporosis treatments in cases of insufficient calcium and vitamin D intake.

In a film-coated tablet, there are 1498.50 mg of calcium carbonate, or 600.00 mg of elemental calcium and 400.00 IU of cholecalciferol or vitamin D3.
The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, crospovidone, sodium laurilsulfate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, opadry OY-S-27203, light liquid paraffin, talc.
