Indications: a herbal medicinal product used in the symptoms of cough with residual secretion, in mild to moderate infections and inflammations of the respiratory tract, such as acute bronchitis.

Action: herbal medicinal product used in coughing.

Dosage:unless your doctor tells you otherwise, take Bronchipret TE syrup 3 times a day. Children aged 2 to 5 years: a single dose 3 times a day: 3.2 ml; total daily dose: 9.6 ml. Children aged 6 to 11 years: a single dose 3 times a day: 4.3 ml; total daily dose: 12.9 ml. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: a single dose 3 times a day: 5.4 ml; total daily dose: 16.2 ml. Orally. Use the enclosed measuring cup and use Bronchipret TE syrup 3 times a day, according to the patient's age, as instructed in the table above. The syrup should be swallowed undiluted. The drug can be washed down with a small amount of liquid (preferably water). Stir before use. In the case of complaints lasting more than 10 days or the appearance of difficulty in breathing, fever or purulent or bloody discharge,

Composition: 100g of syrup contains: active substances: liquid extract of thyme herb 15g (DER: 1:2-2.5; extractant: ammonia solution 10% [m/m]: glycerol 85% [m/m]: ethanol 90% [V/V]: purified water (1:20:70:109)); liquid ivy leaf extract 1.5g (DER: 1:1; extractant: ethanol 70%[V/V]). The medicinal product contains 7%(V/V) alcohol and liquid maltitol.

Contraindications: do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances and to other plants from the Lamiaceae and Araliaceae family, birch, mugwort, celery, or to any of the excipients.

Warnings and precautions:if symptoms do not improve after about 10 days, or if you experience difficulty breathing, fever, purulent or bloody discharge, contact your doctor. Do not use Bronchipret TE without consulting your doctor if you suffer from inflammation or ulceration of the stomach lining. The drug should not be given to children under 2 years of age. In the case of persistent or recurrent cough in children between 2 and 4 years of age, consult a doctor, as such symptoms may be a sign of a serious course of the disease. Bronchipret TE syrup contains 7% vol. of alcohol, this means that 5.4 ml contains up to 0.30 g of alcohol, which is equivalent to 8 ml of beer or 3 ml of wine. It can be harmful for people addicted to alcohol. The presence of alcohol should also be considered and consulted with a doctor, wanting to use the product in children in doses higher than recommended and in groups at increased risk, such as people with liver disease or epilepsy. Bronchipret TE syrup contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking Bronchipret TE syrup. One dose of Bronchipret TE, syrup (5.4 ml) contains approximately 1.9 g of easily digestible carbohydrates.

Interactions with other drugs: To date, no interactions with any other drugs are known. There are no studies on the interaction of Bronchipret TE, syrup with other drugs when administered concomitantly. Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, including those obtained without a prescription.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Due to the lack of data on the use of the medicinal product during pregnancy and lactation, the medicinal product should not be used in pregnant and breast-feeding women. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving and using machines: No special precautions required.
