WHAT GALAZOLIN 0.1% IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR\u003cbr\u003eGalazolin is nasal drops. Its active ingredient, xylometazoline hydrochloride, is a compound of the imidazole group that causes a sympathomimetic effect. Dropped on the nasal mucosa, the preparation constricts the blood vessels, which reduces the hyperemia, swelling and amount of secretions of the nasopharyngeal mucosa.
