The active substance in Cetirizine Actavis is cetirizine dihydrochloride. Cetirizin Actavis is an anti-allergy medicine.

Cetirizin Actavis is indicated for adults and children from 6 years of age:

to relieve nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis;
to relieve chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria).
If after 3 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you should consult a doctor.

Usage
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age

10 mg (1 tablet) once a day.

Children aged 6 to 12 years

5 mg (half a tablet) twice a day.

Patients with moderate to severe renal impairment

The recommended dose for patients with moderate renal impairment is 5 mg once daily.

If you think that the effect of Cetirizin Actavis is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition
The active substance is cetirizine. Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Other ingredients include:
Tablet core : microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone, colloidal, anhydrous silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate;

Tablet coating : hypromellose, macrogol stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol and titanium dioxide (E171).
