As a result, it increases the amount of mucus and improves its transport, which in turn facilitates expectoration and soothes cough. Ambroxol is rapidly and almost completely absorbed after oral administration.\u003cbr\u003eIndications: Acute and chronic diseases of the lungs and bronchi with mucus secretion disorders and difficulties in its transport.\u003cbr\u003eContraindications: Allergy (hypersensitivity) to ambroxol or any of the other ingredients of the drug; if you suffer from hereditary, rare states of intolerance to excipients.\u003cbr\u003eSide effects:Like all medicines, Mucosolvan can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Mucosolvan is generally well tolerated. The most common side effect (affects less than 1 in 10 and more than 1 in 100 patients) is diarrhoea. Uncommon side effects (less than 1 in 100 and more than 1 in 1,000 patients) are: nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal disorders, hypersensitivity reactions. A rare side effect (affects less than 1 in 1,000 and more than 1 in 10,000 patients) is heartburn. In addition, the following may occur: indigestion, rash, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylactic reaction (including anaphylactic shock).\u003cbr\u003eDosage: The usual dose of Mucosolvan is: Adults: 1 tablet 3 times a day. The effect of the drug can be increased by taking 2 tablets twice a day.
