Hesio is a vasoconstrictor. It increases the tone of the vein walls and the resistance of small blood vessels.
Hesio for adults:
to alleviate the symptoms of chronic leg venous insufficiency (leg heaviness, leg swelling, pain, night leg cramps);
to relieve the symptoms of aggravated hemorrhoids (pain, bleeding and swelling in the anus).
How to take this medicine?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Chronic venous insufficiency
The recommended dose for adults is two tablets per day for 2 months: one tablet at noon and one tablet in the evening, with a meal. If symptoms persist, treatment may be continued for another 2 months.
If after 6 weeks of using Hesio for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency the symptoms have not improved or worsened, consult your doctor. Your doctor will decide the duration of treatment if Hesio is to be continued.
Exacerbation of hemorrhoids
For the first 4 days of treatment, the recommended dose for adults is 3 tablets twice a day (6 tablets a day). Next 3 days - 2 tablets twice a day (4 tablets).
Take the tablets with a meal.
If you are using Hesio to treat a flare-up of hemorrhoids and your symptoms do not improve or get worse after 7 days, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
