Folic acid is one of the water-soluble B vitamins and has essential functions in DNA synthesis, cell formation and cell regeneration.
The substance can compensate for folic acid deficiencies and has, among other things, a prophylactic effect against neural tube defects in pregnancy and megaloblastic anemia.
Application
1. Treatment of folic acid deficiency and homocysteinemia:
Depending on your needs, take 5-15 mg folic acid (1-3 tablets) daily.
2. Prevention of neural tube defects:
It is recommended that women who wish to conceive and pregnant women take 5 mg of folic acid (1 tablet) once daily.
The tablets are taken whole with some liquid during meals.
