Ferro sanol duodenal 100 mg, 100 pcs - for iron deficiency
One capsule of ferro sanol® duodenal contains 100 mg of divalent iron (chemically Fe2+). Thanks to the special galenic preparation, it is comparatively well tolerated as an oral iron preparation and can be absorbed particularly well by the body.
ferro sanol® duodenal is approved for use from the age of 6 years and 20 kg body weight in normal and also more severe stages of iron deficiency, e.g. iron deficiency anemia. Since replenishing iron reserves with 100 mg daily can take 3 to 6 months - depending on the severity of the iron deficiency - a high-dose, once-daily administration - as with ferro sanol® duodenal - is simple and practical.
In special cases, e.g. if you have difficulty swallowing or if you follow a very strict vegan or religious lifestyle, you can take the capsule without the capsule shell. To do this, you can open the capsule and take the pellets inside with a spoon. You should always drink enough water (1 glass) immediately after taking the capsule. The product is also available with the same preparation (galenic) in smaller capsules with a 50 mg dosage as ferro sanol® duodenal mite 50 mg.
For all age groups, weight classes and dosage groups, the dosage should be adjusted according to the needs of the person being treated and the response of the clinical variables (e.g. hemoglobin, ferritin, transferrin) should be monitored medically.
