This medicine is used to strengthen fragile hair and nails, and in the adjunctive treatment of corneal scarring and incipient calvicia (hair growth).
Cystine penetrates the keratogenic zone of hair follicles, as well as the nail matrix. In addition, cystine accelerates the multiplication of germ cells in these keratogenic zones, a phenomenon that has been observed with 3H thimidine, and stimulates hair and nail growth.
Vitamin B6 effectively enhances cystine penetration.

Intended for adults, Cystine Vitamine B6 Biogaran contains 500 mg L-Cystine and 50 mg Vitamin B6 per tablet. It truly nourishes hair and nails from within, restoring their strength and beauty.

What are the contraindications?
This medicine is contraindicated in the following situations:
Cystinuria.
Association with levodopa (see Interactions with other drugs and other forms of interaction).

Levodopa. Inhibition of Levodopa activity when used without peripheral dopadecarboxylase inhibitor.

Contraindications of the drug CYSTINE/VITAMINE B6 BIOGARAN CONSEIL
This medicine should not be used in cases of cystinuria (abnormal elimination of cystine in the urine).

This medicine contains only substances presumed safe for use during pregnancy and lactation. Nevertheless, do not use it for prolonged periods without consulting your pharmacist or physician.

Taking care of your hair
A few simple gestures will also help strengthen your hair:
Use a mild shampoo and space out your washes as much as possible to avoid overproduction of sebum... a veritable vicious circle.
