BIO-H-TIN Vitamin H 5 mg 90 tablets for 6 months
BIO-H-TIN® Vitamin H 5 mg tablets counteract a vitamin H deficiency. Visible success is achieved with thin, dull hair as well as with splintering and brittle fingernails. In addition, you can prevent vitamin H deficiency symptoms due to reduced food intake, hormonal changes or stress.
BIO-H-TIN® Vitamin H 5 mg is also used for the prophylaxis and treatment of biotin deficiency states in the very rare biotin-dependent, multiple carboxylase deficiency.
Mode of action
Like all vitamins, vitamin H must also be supplied to the body in sufficient quantities through food. Vitamin H – also known as the hair and nail vitamin – contributes significantly to maintaining the health of your hair and nails. It stimulates the formation of keratin, the building material of nails and hair.
Mandatory information:

Application
Take 1/2 tablet daily (corresponding to 2.5 mg biotin). For prophylaxis, less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient.
To cut the tablet in half exactly, place the tablet with the score line facing up on a firm surface and press it with your finger.
To treat multiple carboxylase deficiency:
Take 1 to 2 tablets daily (corresponding to 5 to 10 mg biotin).
Take BIO-H-TIN® Vitamin H 5 mg tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).
BIO-H-TIN® Vitamin H 5 mg is taken until the biotin levels in the blood normalize. The duration depends on the course of the underlying disease. Please ask your doctor about this. In the very rare case of biotin-dependent, multiple carboxylase deficiency, it is taken for life.
Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
